Tampa is a little less than an hour away and offers days full of fun, including a beautiful beach, shopping malls, and plenty of outdoor activities! Top attractions include the historic Tampa Theatre, the Tampa Bay History Center, and Busch Gardens. For the animal lovers, you can see wildlife rescue at its finest by visiting the Big Cat Rescue, where you can take a day tour and see animals like lions, tigers, and leopards!
Day trips from the park include Disney World (within 60 miles), Sea World in Orlando, Silver Springs, Homosassa Springs (see the manatees), Universal Studios (60 miles), and the Kennedy Space Center, are just a few major attractions for your enjoyment.
